24. The TQ split up into four groups of two and one group of three. The battalion commander and his roommate stayed outside to check the perimeter.
"What is this place?" the roommate asked.
"It’s an old Company factory," the commander said. It seemed like the logical headquarters for a rebel camp. Ironic, even. He motioned for silence and they continued to patrol the perimeter.
The TQ had their orders to sweep inwards, shooting first and not even bothering to ask questions later. They slipped in, silent as snakes.
They had gotten three-quarters of the way around the building when two TQ’s ran up and reported that they had found a locked door.
"Well, blast it open."
